“Reach For Me” by Funky Green Dogs – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera
Funky Green Dogs are Oscar Gaetan, Ralph Falcon and Tamara Wallace – also known as Murk. Their 1992 deep house single “Reach For Me” is one of my favorite underground feel songs and also one which created an erotic dance floor sensation for many dancers on crowded dance floors. It is one of the house pieces that bring the deep bass alive and vocals which make love over its thumping. It is one of my favorites which bring this Disco Video Mix to life for a visual trip.
I have taken scenes from the 1995 science-fiction/thriller “Strange Days” starring Ralph Finnes, Angela Bassett and Juliette Lewis. The story is a futuristic look at Los Angeles during the nearing of the millennium and a device which produces virtual reality in the brain – called SQUID. Problems begin when death and crime take over. This is merely a visual trip using scenes from the film – mostly the erotic performance of Juliette Lewis in the film and segments of minimal violence and the climatic end.
The film was directed by Kathryn Bigelow
