Nataly’s Corner introduces the music of singer/songwriter, producer, musician and re-mixer Jane Vanderbilt. I’ve heard this song [originally sung by 70s R&B group Rose Royce] covered in several music genres but usually with a slow tempo format. With the collaboration of DJ producer Constantino Padavano [known as Mixmaster Funky Junction], Jane Vanderbilt and this producer bring a different format of this classic R&B tune with the use of rhythmic dance beats. It’s totally refreshing. Jane Vanderbilt is not a “music rookie”. She has been composing and mixing for several years. She comes from a very energetic background as a successful DJ Promoter having played along with heavy hitter acts such as George Clinton & the P-Funk band and Lady Keir…as well as opening for Tiesto and Paul Oakenfold, to name a few. She toured internationally as a DJ with Red Bull, the X-Games, and many others. Jane Vanderbilt’s success as a prominent DJ led her towards composing her own music and her involvement in the recording process. Jane is all about satisfying the deephouse listeners with her dance compositions. Her first album, titled When I Get Home and released in Dec 2013, reflects her passion because of its flavor of soul beats and re-mixes. It also spawned Jane’s follow-up with Wishing on a Star and several more mixes. Jane holds several titles that boasts her success as a “Women in Music”. She’s listed as music artist for Radikal Records, Midnight Coast-Midnight Aurora; recording artist for Killertraxx Muzik and Sheeva Records, as well as, singer/songwriter, producer, musician, and Experimental Explorer DJ at Groovetribe.
