Developed in the 1960s by Japanese manufacturer Shin-Ei, the Uni-Vibe quickly became a holy grail effect once electric guitarists at the time got their hands on it. Completely different than all of its fuzz and wah contemporaries, this circuit was immediately in a league of its own.
